![]() Bratz: The Movie (2007) puts a large spotlight on this, with it's main plot being how social hierarchies and cliques are formed among high schoolers, in particular teenage girls. Both Clockwork Angel (2010) and Bratz: The Movie (2007) explore the complexities of female friendships and how they relate to each other. Despite my mixed feelings on the series, my favorite part of it was its relationship to Bratz: The Movie (2007). ![]() I also thought a lot of the characters fell flat (even though Jem was a funky fly rowdy and real girlboss). However, I still feel that much of this book was very slow, and most of it is just people sitting around and talking. The setting of Victorian London is very atmospheric and gives it a good aesthetic, which I personally feel the original series, The Mortal Instruments, was lacking. Whether you want a clockwork angel, prince, princess, brat, or old man, this series has it all for you. ![]()
